Owner/Founder Sonya Sammut has always had a passion for sweets and that passion has followed her into her adulthood.
Now, after 16 years of working with some of Montreal's most prestigious restaurants and Executive Chefs, as well as working in Europe and being a contestant on Chopped Canada, she has branched out on her own to create a successful catering business-Sachère Desserts.
Sachère provides many Montreal establishments with gourmet desserts and pastries that will challenge any refined palate. Made with quality ingredients and lots of attention to detail, Sonya makes sure that all her desserts and pastries are made with love and care.

Since 2018, Sachère Desserts, located at 1274 de Maisonneuve Boulevard East in Montreal, opened its doors to the public. Located in the heart of the Village, all the products served up here (pastries, birthday cakes, soft serve ice cream, mason jar desserts, cake truffles) are all made in house with one vision in mind-quality over quantity.
Serving Third Wave coffee beans from Montreal Roasters Kaito, Sachère is a warm and welcoming spot to grab a coffee, to study and socialize while enjoying a treat or two.
